Leaders from Google Cloud, CloudWerx, Watr Protocol and Celo joined ReFi House Austin to discuss the future of Web3.
Anella Bokhari, Startup Sales Lead at Google Cloud, kicked off the conversation with a discussion about diversity in Web3. Bokhari founded the Women in Web3 community at Google as a way to address the diversity gap in the broader ecosystem.
The discussion then shifted to new opportunities in Web3. As Betsy Reed, CRO of CloudWerx described, “Technology has to serve the world. It's not technology for technology's sake…It has a purpose…[and] it's meant to be an enablement mechanism for the innovation of the world."
